The effective and safe system to reduce the effects of condensation on metal roofs.


When the temperature and humidity reach the dew point, the humidity condenses on the lower side of the metal plates, forming drops of water which, if in significant quantities, fall to the ground damaging everything that remains below the roof.

What is it?

It is a special adhesive fabric applied to the inside of the sheets during the profiling process.

How does it work?

The “Control drop” is made of a material that can “capture” a part of the condensate particles, absorbing them until the atmospheric conditions drop below the due point, thus limiting dripping (as per UNI 10372).

Installation Informations

“Control drop” is applied on the underside of the sheet so that normal metal roofing installation techniques still apply. However, when installing the roof, some steps must be taken to prevent capillary suction of moisture.

Particular attention should be paid to the overlaps:

  1. On the lateral overlap  “Control drop” pad is not present, as shown below

2. on the head overlaps and/or on the lower part of the sheet near the eaves line the pad must be removed as shown below
